It's hard to believe that all these beauties came from my tiny little garden yesterday! They made a delicious batch of roasted tomato soup -- except for the big yellow tomato on top (lemon boy variety). You, my tasty friend, will soon be Caprese salad.
NICE!!!! I bet the soup will be yummy. love LOVE LOVE making meals from veggies I grow myself. It answers some kind of intrinsic need in me...must be cell memory from my cave women ancestors.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree! I sometimes wonder if I would just be happier if I owned a big farm that I could tend to green things and live off the land. I do realize that the day-to-day reality of this life would be very difficult, but I think this would be so preferrable to picking up legos and all the plastic and paper clutter all the time.
